Three Songs To The Head vol. 25

Hello and welcome back to Three Songs to the Head where we share three songs that moved us, three songs we love, three songs we can’t get out of our heads! Today, we’re featuring Ever So Android, The Weather and Spekulation. Enjoy!

–Jake Uitti

I first heard Ever So Android at Seattle’s Bigass Boombox festival. Lead singer Hope Simpson was gyrating and screeching and ripping the cover off the microphone like a homerun hitter knocks the cover off a baseball as it flies out of the park. She takes the best elements of Pink, an artist I like!, and mixes hypnotic heroine guitar lines from Drew Murray. Also she wants to kiss you until your lips bleed!

The Weather (formerly Campfire OK) produced a sexy, catchy part Purple Rain, part Where The Streets Have No Name, part The Strokes music video for their song “1983”. You can easily imagine hot bodied people in leg warmers and sweatshirts shaking their stuff to this lovely song. Try it for yourself!

We present this song, without comment, from the mind of our beloved Spekulation.

The answer isn't poetry, but rather language
